LUCKNOW: A Lucknow-primarily based cleric on Monday rubbished Malayalam movie director Ali Akbar’s allegation that an ‘ustad’ (grasp) experienced sexually abused him.
“I just dismiss the allegation of the Malayalam movie director. I see it as a conspiracy to malign the image of the Islamic establishments simply because 1 should hold in thoughts that at this Islamic institution, emphasis is laid on discipline and ethical training. I believe this is a conspiracy to influence the constructive impression of these Madrasas,” Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali advised ANI.
“I strongly want to say that there is no sexual abuse in any Madrasa during India,” he added.
Akbar experienced previously said that when he analyzed in Course IV at a Madrasa in Wayanad District, the then ustad experienced sexually abused him.
“That madrasa was run by Kanthapuram Musliyar. If Musliyar is ready to look into the situation, I am completely ready to give specifics of the ustad,’’ explained Akbar
Akbar alleged that the ustad sexually exploited each and every scholar in his class.
“Sexual exploitation of children in madrasas is still heading on. But, no person is completely ready to talk out towards it out of dread. When leaders like Kanthapuram Musliyar are heading the madrasa education and learning technique in Kerala, who would dare to complaint in opposition to an ustad,’’ he additional.
