NEW DELHI: Agitating towards the alleged growing “intolerance” in the nation, scores of Youth Congress personnel assembled at Jantar Mantar listed here today demanding that the Key Minister split his silence on the concern.
The agitating employees ended up addressed by Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia who accused the BJP-led NDA government of failing to incorporate the concern of increasing intolerance in the country.
“The environment of intolerance has been created by BJP and we have to get rid of it. Their ministers and MPs are creating irresponsible feedback and they are silent. Their Assam Governor says that India is for Hindus and Muslims can go to Pakistan or Syria…they are forgetting that India is a united country,” he said in his tackle.
Scindia also alleged that the NDA federal government has moved from “chai pe charcha” to “gai (cow) pe charcha” and demanded that PM Narendra Modi crack his silence on the issue.
Whilst the activists ongoing with their “Sansad Gherao” programme, law enforcement had to use drinking water canons to disperse them.
The protesters also targetted the authorities for the price tag hike of important commodities as well, especially onions and potatoes.
