An Australian fur seal is fortunate to have survived soon after currently being located with a harpoon lodged in between its shoulders on Chinaman’s Hat, in Port Phillip Bay.
The hurt animal was noticed on the channel marker by users of the Dolphin Investigation Institute and the Division of Atmosphere, Land, Drinking water and Organizing (DELWP) was referred to as in to perform the rescue.
The seal was then darted and taken to Melbourne Zoo for treatment method.

Seals are secured animals and any person discovered killing or injuring them could be subjected to a wonderful of $ seven,350 or 6 months in jail.
