An Australian male suspected of foremost the abduction and murder of a previous member of the Hells Angels group in Thailand has fled to Cambodia, Thai police say.
Antonio Bagnato has been named by Thai law enforcement as the leader of a 5-guy group that conquer Wayne Rodney Schneider unconscious and kidnapped him from his home in Pattaya, south of Bangkok, in the early hrs of Monday early morning.
Mr Schneider’s entire body was identified in a roadside grave about 30 kilometres absent, after police tracked the rented getaway vehicle’s GPS.
Pattaya police have informed the ABC they now imagine their major suspect has fled the country.
“We received data that he crossed the border to Cambodia,” Pattaya superintendent Sukthat Pumpanmuang stated.
One more guy, a 21-12 months-old American, has been detained on the Thai-Cambodian border and brought to Pattaya for more questioning.
“The arrest warrant will be issued for the American man tonight,” Superintendent Pumpanmuang stated.
“We believe that he was involved with the abduction and the murder,” he stated.
Mr Schneider was a senior member of the Hells Angels in Sydney and was reportedly on a look at-checklist for medicines and money laundering.
