Former treasurer Joe Hockey expended $ 6,670 on a chartered flight from Sydney to Canberra.
The flight was taken on February two, 2015, the day previous primary minister Tony Abbott dealt with the National Press Club in Canberra.
There is no record of any press conferences or media releases from Mr Hockey on the day of the flight.
In accordance to the release of parliamentary expenses by the Division of Finance right now, Mr Hockey expended 3 nights in Canberra before flying back again to Sydney on February 5 at a expense of $ 421.36.
No purpose has nevertheless been presented for the chartered flight.
Remark is currently being sought from the Section of Finance and Mr Hockey.
The previous treasurer declared a total of $ 391,000 well worth of parliamentary expenses amongst January and June this year.
Mr Hockey has retired from Parliament, with a by-election for his seat of North Sydney to be held on Saturday.
