An “military of ministerial spin medical doctors” in the Victorian Labor Govt is costing taxpayers $ 25 million, the Opposition states.
The wages monthly bill addresses ministerial workers, advisers, assistants, media employees and motorists, and Victoria has much more of them than any other federal government in Australia, shadow treasurer Michael O’Brien stated.
He explained that was 15 for every cent much more employees than the previous Coalition govt experienced.
Mr O’Brien said Victorians would be “outraged’ that the Premier, Daniel Andrews, had been “feathering his own nest” and stated the Authorities had received its priorities improper.
“Considering that Daniel Andrews came to place of work, Victoria has less police officers on the defeat but now we see there is certainly an military of ministerial spin doctors doing work for the Leading,” he said.
“In New South Wales, they are killing us when it will come to new employment and [Leading] Mike Baird’s undertaking it with significantly less spin medical doctors than Daniel Andrews.”
Mr O’Brien explained that cash would be far better expended on educational institutions, hospitals and community transport.
“When Daniel Andrews arrived to place of work he promised to generate employment,” he said.
“I think most Victorians hoped they’d be true jobs, not work for his own media minders and spin medical doctors in his very own non-public workplace.”
