A man has been charged following law enforcement discovered one,600 ecstasy tablets in a boat on Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle.
Officers ended up called to Mannering Park about nine:40am on Monday soon after reports a man had fallen from a boat.
Law enforcement stated they arrived to discover a damp male going for walks up a boat ramp.
Roadways and Maritime Solutions retrieved the boat from the drinking water and sent it to waiting around officers.
They identified one,600 MDMA tablets – worth an estimated $ 35,000 – as effectively as fifteen grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia throughout a lookup of the boat.
The 38-12 months-previous man was arrested at the scene and taken to Wyong Police Station.
He has been charged with drug supply and possession offences and has been refused bail.
