A gentleman wearing a balaclava and wielding a sword has threatened a feminine personnel member at the Hidden Valley Tavern in Darwin’s south just before fleeing with the weekend’s takings.
Northern Territory law enforcement explained the guy waited in the business office of the Hidden Valley Tavern until right after closing time prior to he confronted a feminine staffer with the sword and stole the weekend’s takings.
NT Law enforcement Obligation Superintendent Kylie Proctor stated the staff member was shaken but not harm.
The thief pressured her to open up the lodge secure and set the cash in a bag.
The NT Law enforcement canine squad attended and tried to keep track of the culprit.
“The canine unit was dispatched and picked up a scent major from the scene,” Superintendent Proctor stated.
“Unfortunately, we lost that scent in the industrial location off the freeway, among Vanderlin Generate and the Stuart Highway.”
Superintendent Proctor explained the offender as getting about 178 centimetres tall, and dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt, inexperienced trousers and green camouflage boots.
