A female has been rescued from a burning residence in the southern Perth suburb of Camillo, with the fireplace suspected to have been intentionally lit.
The blaze took hold at the home on Cammillo Street about 7:30pm on Tuesday.
It is understood the female, 54, was rescued from the property by a passerby who kicked in a lounge space window to achieve her.
She was taken to Armadale-Kelmscott Healthcare facility with smoke inhalation but has given that been introduced.
Firefighters explained initial investigations indicated the fire commenced in a bed room of the property.
Damage to the house has been approximated at $ 100,000.
An investigation is underway.
