Mom and daughter Karlie Pearce-Stevenson and Khandalyce Pearce, alleged murder victims whose stays have been discovered far more than 1,000 kilometres apart, have finally been laid to rest together in their hometown of Alice Springs.
Far more than a hundred mourners collected at the Alice Springs Desert Church for the personal farewell for the pair.
The stays of Ms Pearce-Stevenson ended up located in the Belanglo Forest in NSW 5 a long time back, even though her daughter’s continues to be had been identified along with a suitcase on the side of South Australia’s Karoonda Freeway in July this year.
A team of individuals in Alice Springs released dozens of pink and blue balloons outdoors the church at the conclusion of the support.

The mom and daughter were buried jointly in a modest white coffin at a regional cemetery, up coming to Ms Pearce-Stevenson’s mother Colleen Povey, who died in 2012.
Prior to the services the family released a statement acknowledging the outpouring of assist they received from the wider group.
The statement quoted celebrant Meredith Campbell.
“The really like and assist provided by all individuals very good folks who assisted the loved ones through these darkish and unforgiving many years will never be forgotten,” Ms Campbell stated.
The household statement went on to explain the mother and daughter.
“Karlie was remembered as a cheeky, type and faithful younger woman, who was usually there to help family,” it said.
The statement explained Khandalyce and her mother ended up “constantly there, front and centre” and that the pair ended up “facing the globe with all its charms, persuasions and pitfalls”.
The discovery of the stays Khandalyce shocked the region and led to a large-scale law enforcement investigation to consider and work out her id.
She was only discovered in Oct this calendar year, soon after a tip-off to police.
Daniel Holdom, forty one, has been billed with murdering Karlie Pearce Stevenson.
No charges have yet been laid more than the death of her daughter.
